I was told by a friend that a Home Show was going to be held at the Benton Event Center. I drove to Benton the day before the first Benton Home Show Expo. I met Shaun and Tammy McFarland and inquired about any open booth space. They had one space available, down at the end of the hallway by the restrooms so I took what I could get. During the Show, I got 15 jobs! Over the years, their shows would become the single largest place I generated business... way beyond my imagination. The best thing was not only the jobs their shows generated for my company but getting to know both of these people. I'm blessed to be able to call them friends.

I've been involved in different types of trade shows over the years with mobility scooters. They've mostly been good for branding and name recognition but didn't necessarily equate to direct sales.
